Privacy Policy

Calmender is built to be calm and trustworthy — and that starts with your data. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app handles and why. Calmender is published by CS Analytics LLC (“we”, “us”).

What stays on your device

Your tasks, steps, day plans, energy levels, and settings are stored locally on your device (using Apple’s Core Data). If you’re signed into iCloud with sync enabled, this data syncs through your own private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit) so it stays consistent across your devices. It moves device-to-device through Apple — we can’t see it. Apple’s handling is covered by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

AI features (Coach, Magic Split, Brain Dump, Morning)

When you use an AI feature, the app sends only the minimum text needed to a secure processing function we operate (on Supabase), which forwards it to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), to generate your result and return it. Specifically:

• Magic Split — the title of the task you’re breaking down.
• Brain Dump — the text you type or dictate.
• Morning — a list of your current task titles plus your chosen energy, so they can be selected and ordered.
• Coach — only aggregate stats (your recent completion rate and current energy). We never send your raw task names to the Coach.

This text is used only to produce your result. It is not used to train AI models — Anthropic does not train its models on data sent through its API. We do not store the content of your tasks or messages on our servers.

Usage limits

To keep the AI features sustainable and prevent abuse, we store a small counter per subscriber: an anonymous subscriber ID (assigned by RevenueCat), which feature was used, and a per-day or per-trial count. No task content is stored. This lives in our database (Supabase, in the EU — Frankfurt).

Subscriptions

Calmender Pro is sold through Apple’s In-App Purchase. Apple processes your payment — we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; it assigns an anonymous app user ID and tells the app whether your subscription is active.

Voice input

If you add tasks by voice, the app uses Apple’s Speech Recognition. The audio and transcription are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. We don’t record or store your audio.

Notifications

Reminders and alarms are scheduled locally on your device. No data leaves your device to deliver them.

What we do not collect

We don’t collect your name, email (unless you email us), contacts, precise location, advertising identifiers, or device/usage analytics.

Where your data is processed

Our processing function and database run on Supabase in the EU (Frankfurt, eu-central-1). Our AI provider, Anthropic, processes requests on infrastructure in the United States. Text sent for AI features transits these services solely to generate your result.

Children

Calmender is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We don’t knowingly collect data from children.

Your choices & rights

• Delete all local data by deleting the app.
• Turn off iCloud sync in iOS Settings at any time.
• Manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store.
• For any question or request about your data, email us.

If we make changes, we’ll post them here and update the date above.
